Supply Chain Security in warehouse’s

Warehouse mgt system (WMS) is  key part of the SCS and primarily aims to control the movement and storage of materials within a warehouse and process the connected transactions, such as receiving, shipping, clear up and alternative. It’s a total sensitive area. Can we protect with below keys:

1.         CC Camera.  Sufficient CC camera with 24 hours operations.  Installation points to be:

            a.         Inside.  Face to entry and exit doors.

            b.         Inside.  Face to working area.

            c.         Inside. Face to issue and receiving area.

            d.         Inside. Face to finished goods packing area.

            e.         Outside. Face to entry, exit and goods movement area.

2.         Entry allowable :

            a.         Can enter only valid ID holders. ID color should be different.

            b.         Near the entry doors; list of valid ID holders with photographs to be hanged. 

            c.          Photographs for temporary employees like cleaner, electrician, contact workers for  delivery or more (as necessary) to be included in addition.        

            d.         All movement data to be registered by the security book.

3.         Security and Safety measures. 

           

a.                   During entry and exit; employee’s and visitor's should be done physical check   .

           

b.                 In the way of fire extinguishers, exit doors and inside pathway;     No hazards or     obstacles to be there .

c.                   Work surface to be kept dry and damage free.

d.                  Sufficient lighting.
